Shawn Baer missed the main at Springfield by a blink of the eye...actually much closer than that. Shawn missed the main by about a tenth of the time it takes to blink an eye - he was 40 milliseconds behind 3rd place Robert Pearson (and only 60 milliseconds behind winner Shaun Russell). In fact the top 5 in Semi 1 at the "World's Fastest Mile" were separated buy just 94 milliseconds...or just under a tenth of a second. 6th place Cory Texter lagged another tenth behind. WOW! All in all it was classic Springfield Mile racing all day with packs of riders drafting to the line. We'll have info from the Bonneville Performance team up later this week.
